The first race of 2014 FIA Formula E Championship was held at Beijing Olympic Park. As the official solar partner of the event, Hanergy Thin Film Power provided the world's leading rapid deployment solar system, ensuring a clean power supply for the event.
The rapid deployment solar system uses flexible modules that are unbreakable and weigh only 1/4 of that of conventional silicon modules. All devices are housed in a standard 20-foot container and the installation can be done by four operators within only half an hour. Under sunny conditions in Beijing, 70 kWh of electricity can be provided daily to meet the basic electricity needs of 200 to 400 people.
